A rare Škoda Octavia RS, boasting a unique combination of features and a remarkably low mileage for its age, has surfaced for sale in Germany.
The 2012 Octavia RS, a post-facelift model, has logged just under 40,000 kilometers (approximately 25,000 miles) – a remarkably low figure for a vehicle of its age.
The vehicle is being offered with a single owner history, complete service records, and a fresh inspection sticker, making it an appealing find for enthusiasts.
What sets this Octavia apart is its engine. While most second-generation Octavias are equipped with diesel or less powerful gasoline engines, this model features a turbocharged 1.8-liter gasoline engine producing 118 kW (160 horsepower).
This engine was typically reserved for higher-performance trims; only the RS version usually came with a 2.0-liter engine.
According to historical data, the Škoda Octavia 1.8 TSI, with its 118 kW output between 5,000 and 6,200 rpm and 250 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 4,200 rpm, could accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 7.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 139 mph (223 km/h).
This particular model is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The engine choice suggests the original owner desired more than a standard Octavia. Accordingly, they opted for the top-of-the-line Laurin & Klement trim level.

The liftback features a comprehensive equipment list, including xenon headlights, the Bolero multimedia system, automatic dual-zone climate control, and leather upholstery. The light-colored leather interior is a particularly rare touch.
The seller describes the Škoda as “exceptionally well-maintained,” and the photographs appear to support that claim. It is currently listed for sale at €11,590 (approximately $12,500 USD).
