Fincantieri Group company Remazel has completed the acquisition of 100% of H Tech Serviços e Manutenção Ltda., a Brazilian firm specializing in offshore plant inspection and maintenance services. The deal, announced on March 5, 2026, marks a strategic expansion for Remazel in the growing Brazilian offshore energy market.
The acquisition is intended as a long-term investment to deliver value to customers, partners, and stakeholders, according to a company statement. Brazil is currently experiencing rapid growth in offshore Oil & Gas investment and is becoming a key market for underwater technology – a sector where Remazel holds a strategic position within the Fincantieri Group.
Remazel plans to integrate the two companies in the coming months, aiming to maximize industrial and organizational synergies. This integration will bolster the company’s ability to meet increasing demand for its equipment and manage complex technical projects in the global energy sector. The move highlights the increasing need for specialized maintenance and inspection services in the demanding offshore environment.
