Patrick Retschko is set to make his Richmond debut in Round 6 against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

The 20-year-old, traded from Geelong at the end of the 2025 season, has earned his call-up after impressing during pre-season and averaging 23 disposals in three VFL games this season.

Retschko, a lifelong Tigers supporter, was drafted by Geelong with the 23rd selection in the 2024 rookie draft and will be one of four changes to the Richmond side, alongside Kane McAuliffe, Hugo Ralphsmith, and ruckman Samson Ryan.

The quartet replaces Oliver Hayes-Brown, Tom Brown, Jacob Hopper, and Luke Trainor, who have been omitted or managed for the match.

Richmond’s backline will feature Nick Vlastuin, Ben Miller, Noah Balta, Nathan Broad, Jayden Short, and Sam Grlj, while the centreline includes Sam Banks, Dion Prestia, and Hugo Ralphsmith.

Samson Ryan takes the ruck position alongside followers Tim Taranto and Sam Lalor, with the forward line comprising Maurice Rioli, Jack Ross, Steely Green, Liam Fawcett, Seth Campbell, and Mykelti Lefau.

The interchange consists of Retschko, McAuliffe, Campbell Gray, Tyler Sonsie, and Jonty Faull, with Brown, Hayes-Brown, and Zane Peucker named as emergencies.

Richmond takes on North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium from 1:10pm AEST on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
