In a recent interview,Vassileva voiced heartbreak over Gusherov’s lack of involvement with their four children and accused him of delaying divorce proceedings over alimony concerns. The case highlights the often-private struggles faced by families navigating high-profile separations and the challenges of co-parenting amid legal disputes.
“I will never forgive Christian! How can I, when he hasn’t once called to ask how we’re managing with the children? We can’t fix our relationship!”

“It pains me that he doesn’t care for the children, doesn’t even want to see them. Right now, we have no relationship whatsoever. I only speak to his mother every day. She helps us a lot,” the blonde beauty confided.
The breakup of the high-profile couple has been a leading topic in Bulgarian media for nearly a year. The family’s struggles have been marked by fear, tears, and conflict, as Svetlana now cares for their four children.
“I believe he’s refusing to grant the divorce so he won’t have to pay alimony,” the former partner of the wealthy businessman claims.
When Svetlana left the marital home, she made the decision quickly and decisively.
“It took me just one day to decide. I simply saw him lying and making no effort for the family – not fighting to improve things. He was leaving the children on their own, without clothes. It became too much,” the former Miss Playmate stated frankly.
The children are the ones most affected by the separation, and despite their young ages, they understand what’s happening. The Gusherovs have four children: Anelia-Dobromira, Dobromir, Christian-Valentin, and Valentina.
“I would say they are doing okay. But Dobromir really misses a male figure. He wants someone to play football with him, to do boyish things. I’ve noticed when we’re out with another little boy and his father, Dobromir’s eyes well up. He doesn’t show it to me, but I see it in his gaze. There’s nothing I can do. He doesn’t miss his father specifically, but a father figure,” the glamorous model believes.
The drama is undoubtedly taking a toll on the star’s mental health.
“I feel like a wrung-out rag that’s being squeezed into a bucket. I’m very tired. I have no choice. I have four children and a mother to think about. Everything is on my shoulders. Giving up would mean abandoning them to fate. I will fight,” the blonde declared to the publication.
Currently, Christian is still under a restraining order and is prohibited from contacting his former partner. Svetlana admits she feels safer with the order in place.
“When two people are no longer in love and there’s tension in the family, it affects the children, who absorb all the negative energy. In such cases, it’s better to separate,” Svetlana offered with a pragmatic outlook.
