Hungarian actress and television host Szorcsik Viki has spoken candidly about her decision not to have children, emphasizing her prioritization of personal freedom. The performer shared her perspective in an interview with HOT! magazine, as reported on April 29, 2026.
Szorcsik, who recently spent nearly half a year in Mexico following her participation in the “Sztárbox” program, stated, “I’ve never cared what anyone thinks about this, because this is my life.” She described the ability to live life on her own terms as “the best thing I’ve achieved in my life,” adding, “I am free, I owe nothing to anyone, I have no burden, and I am happy because the greatest gift of life is mine: freedom.”
The actress explained that she consciously shaped her life to allow for travel and independence. “I decided particularly early on how I wanted to live my life. I had no preference for having children. I feel good in my skin this way,” she said. Szorcsik as well noted that material possessions hold little appeal for her, preferring instead to invest in experiences like travel. “I don’t crave luxury items like many others. Instead, I buy a plane ticket and travel wherever I want,” she explained. “Just sitting on a sandy beach and watching the waves is enough to fill me up. And being able to do that on the Caribbean Sea is a wonderful feeling.”
The interview comes after Szorcsik’s time competing on “Sztárbox,” where she was defeated by Evelin Gáspár. Following the competition, she embarked on an extended stay in Mexico, during which she was even a witness to a police shooting on the main street of Tulum, according to Sassy.hu. The openness with which Szorcsik discusses her life choices reflects a broader cultural conversation around personal fulfillment and societal expectations.
