Leading the pack in nominations are the acclaimed productions of ‘Los miserables,’ ‘Wicked,’ and ‘Calentamiento,’ all of which have secured multiple nods in this year’s competition.
The nominations highlight a strong showing of regional talent from across Spain. From the Canary Islands, Daniel Abreu and two lyric productions are in the running, showcasing the islands’ contribution to the performing arts.
Navarre is similarly well-represented, with actor Ángel Ruiz and soprano Sabina Puértolas earning nominations for their respective artistic achievements.
