AI Ventures Accelerator Launches, Offering $100,000 in Seed Funding to Young Women Entrepreneurs
Applications opened today for the AI Ventures Accelerator 2026, a program designed to support young women in building artificial intelligence-powered businesses and offering a total of $100,000 in equity-free seed funding.
The 12-week accelerator, a collaboration between Technovation and Generation Unlimited, is open to women aged 19-24 residing in India, Nigeria, Mexico, or the United States. Participants will receive AI education, entrepreneurship training, and mentorship, with the goal of developing viable tech solutions to real-world problems. The program aims to address the significant gender gap in the technology and venture capital sectors.
Ten top-performing teams will each receive $10,000 in seed funding, and will have the opportunity to pitch their ventures at a Demo Day event in October 2026. An additional 25 teams will receive post-program incubation support to help secure further venture capital. No prior coding or AI experience is required to apply; the accelerator prioritizes innovative ideas and a commitment to learning. The application deadline is November 30, 2025, with selected applicants to be notified by the end of December. The program is scheduled to begin in January 2026. Officials stated that the accelerator seeks to empower the next generation of female tech leaders and foster innovation in the AI space.
