As the war in Ukraine continues, a series of events are planned for February 24th to mark four years since Russia’s full-scale invasion and to reaffirm support for the country. The ongoing conflict underscores the importance of sustained solidarity with Ukraine.

A poster-making workshop, organized by artist Dainis Rudens, will offer participants the opportunity to create artwork expressing their support. The workshop will provide materials for stencil-based designs as well as for original creations, allowing individuals to craft their own messages, drawings, or symbols. Tea will be available for attendees.

The completed posters will be displayed at the Freedom Monument in Riga on the morning of February 24th, as part of a larger show of support titled “Together to Victory!” The demonstration is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. Those unable to attend in person are encouraged to display their posters in visible locations, even if they are at work or school.
