A social media influencer known for showcasing a lavish lifestyle is facing accusations of fraud and theft targeting elderly men and those in her immediate circle in the United States. The case highlights the growing risks of online relationships and the potential for exploitation through social media platforms.

Adva Lavie, according to authorities, allegedly connected with victims through dating applications, gaining their trust before burglarizing their homes during in-person meetings.

MULTIPLE VICTIMS IDENTIFIED

The first official warning regarding Lavie was issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in October. Following the bulletin, more than ten individuals came forward with complaints against her.

Investigators believe Lavie may have committed similar crimes not only in the U.S., but also in France and Italy. Reports indicate her alleged targets included not only older men, but also young women, men, and even businesses.

PODCAST INCIDENT RAISES CONCERNS

Lavie also drew attention for an incident during a November 2024 appearance on the “Access Vegas” podcast. During the broadcast, she was reportedly absent for an extended period, and it was later alleged she was searching through the belongings of other guests.

Some podcast attendees subsequently discovered missing credit cards and cash. One guest, after reviewing their account activity, found evidence suggesting Lavie had used their card.

FORMER SOLDIER UNDER HOUSE ARREST

Prosecutors filed charges against Lavie on November 4, in connection with five victims. She surrendered to authorities two days later.

Lavie is currently under house arrest with electronic monitoring and has denied all accusations. She reportedly served in the Israel Defense Forces at one point, though this has not been independently verified.
