The conflict between the United States and Israel against Iran continues for a fourth consecutive day.
Israel stated Tuesday that “numerous munitions” were launched at the Presidential Office and the Supreme National Security Council in Tehran, hours after launching new attacks in Lebanon and expanding its ground operation in the country targeting Hezbollah positions. The escalating conflict is raising concerns about wider regional instability.
Hezbollah had launched rockets and drones toward Israel following a strike that killed a top Iranian leader.
In Riyadh, Saudi officials reported overnight that the U.S. Embassy was struck by two Iranian drones, causing limited damage. Israeli strikes have as well continued across Iran.
The Iranian Red Crescent Society reports 787 people have been killed in the U.S.-Israeli operation in Iran. The U.S. Central Command stated that six U.S. Military personnel have died since the conflict began.
U.S. President Donald Trump has since warned that combat operations will continue with “full force” until all of Washington’s objectives are met.

Where Have Israel and the United States Struck?
The Israeli military announced extensive joint strikes with the United States over the weekend, destroying air defenses in western and central Iran.
Verified videos from the Iranian capital, Tehran, showed large plumes of smoke rising over the city on Saturday.
BBC Verify obtained satellite imagery taken that morning, showing significant damage to part of the Leadership House complex, the office of the Ayatollah Jamenei.
The Israeli military stated its attacks against Tehran targeted meetings of senior political and security officials.
BBC Verify has confirmed visual evidence of attacks at 13 different locations in Tehran, as well as in 12 other Iranian cities.

At least 153 people were killed Saturday in a girls’ school in Minab, southern Iran, after being hit by three missiles, according to Iranian state media. BBC has not been able to independently verify this information.
Military bases were attacked in Kermanshah and Tabriz, as well as Iranian naval facilities in Konarak, in southern Iran.
U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that U.S. Forces sank 10 Iranian warships and largely destroyed its headquarters.
Israel has expanded its operations to Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah, the militant group that has long received support from Iran. On Tuesday, Israeli officials stated troops had entered Lebanon and were taking “strategic areas” to prevent attacks against Israeli border communities.
The move came after Israel announced Monday it was carrying out strikes in both Iran and Lebanon, following overnight rocket launches by Hezbollah toward Haifa.
The Israeli airstrike targeted Hezbollah’s stronghold in the southern suburbs of Beirut and areas near the city’s airport, as well as targets in southern Lebanon. Explosions continued in the city throughout Tuesday morning.
Where Has Iran Struck?

Iran has responded with attacks against Israeli and U.S. Bases in the region, and has been blamed for airstrikes against Gulf countries.
On Tuesday night, Saudi officials reported that the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh was struck by two drones, causing minor damage and sparking a small fire.
New Iranian attacks were reported against a major gas plant in Qatar, where the Defense Ministry later stated it had shot down two Iranian aircraft, seven missiles, and five drones.
In the United Arab Emirates, three people were killed and several injured, according to the Defense Ministry on Sunday.
Jordan’s Health Ministry reported one death on Sunday. The Ali Al-Salem airbase was targeted by several ballistic missiles that were successfully intercepted, according to authorities.
The country’s military said it shot down three U.S. Aircraft on Monday in what appeared to be a friendly fire incident, according to U.S. Central Command. All six crew members ejected safely and have been rescued.
In neighboring Iraq, three drones were shot down over the Erbil airport on Monday, which hosts troops from the U.S.-led coalition.
Bahrain’s National Communication Center reported Saturday that the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet service center had been “targeted by a missile.”
Also in Bahrain, a verified video, filmed from a moving vehicle, shows the moment a missile impacts. An explosion then sends debris and shrapnel flying.
In Saudi Arabia, a fire at the Ras Tanura refinery, operated by the country’s state-owned oil company Aramco, was brought under control Monday after the interception of two drones, officials said.
Jordanian authorities, a country bordering Israel, said its armed forces had downed ballistic missiles targeting its territory.
Oman’s state news agency reported Sunday that the port of Duqm had been attacked by two drones, injuring a worker.
What Happened in Cyprus?

An Iranian drone crashed into the British RAF Akrotiri airbase at midnight (22:00 GMT on Sunday), Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides announced.
There were no casualties and the base sustained minor damage, but the UK Ministry of Defence indicated it was relocating families.
A government spokesperson in Cyprus reported Monday that two other drones heading toward RAF Akrotiri had been intercepted.
How Is the Conflict Affecting the Global Economy?

Global oil and gas prices surged Monday, with producers, insurers, and shipping companies affected by the war and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
European gas prices jumped more than 30% after Qatar Energy, the world’s largest producer of liquefied natural gas (LNG), announced a suspension of its production.
Qatar supplies around a fifth of the world’s LNG supply.
Several attacks on ships in the Strait have been recorded in the last two days.
