Vanesa Romero, Goya-Nominated Director
While widely known as an actress and model, Vanesa Romero has increasingly focused on artistic production in recent years. In addition to publishing two books, she has already directed two short films: Un día de mierda (2022) and Sexo a los 70 (2025). Her latest, starring Mamen García, Laura Candil, Carlos Sobera, Fernando Colomo and Javier Bódalo, tells the story of Marga, a widow finding new connections through dating apps with the help of her granddaughter. The film is nominated for Best Short Film at the Goya Awards 2026, Spain’s national film awards.
Celtas Cortos on La Revuelta
Celtas Cortos surprised viewers yesterday by attending the show as audience members, but their status as Spanish music icons warrants a dedicated interview. The historic folk-rock band from Valladolid announced their 40th-anniversary tour on La Revuelta and received praise from Chenoa, who described them as “the greatest, a group that has marked an era and whose music is timeless.” Jesús Cifuentes and the band will return to the program today as guests of David Broncano on the La Revuelta stage.
