Vithas has joined as a sponsor for the 48th edition of the Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid, reinforcing its commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle through sport.
The healthcare group will support the event for the first time, which has already attracted over 47,000 runners set to compete in the marathon, half-marathon and 10K races on April 26, 2026, across the streets of Madrid.
As part of the sponsorship agreement, Vithas will operate ten runner assistance points along the course, with half staffed by physiotherapists to provide on-site care if needed.
Vithas will have a presence at the Runner’s Fair, taking place April 24–25 in Hall 14 of IFEMA Madrid. Professionals from Vithas Invictum and the Sports Medicine and Traumatology units at Vithas Madrid Arturo Soria and Aravaca hospitals, led by Dr. José Silberberg, will offer expert advice and practical tips to participants before, during, and after the race.
The Vithas stand will feature physiotherapists, nutritionists, podologists, and sports medicine specialists available to answer runners’ questions and provide guidance.
Enrique Moreno, Vithas’ Marketing Director, stated that the sponsorship strengthens the group’s dedication to sport as a healthy habit and a tool for disease prevention, leveraging its specialized healthcare services for both amateur and professional athletes while extending wellness outreach to the general public through strategic partnerships.
He added that the Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid continues to grow and deliver a unique experience for runners, thanks to the support of partners like Vithas.
