Tomar is set to host the Final Four of the Taça de Portugal in roller hockey this weekend, with the tournament kicking off on April 25 and concluding on April 26, 2026.

The event will accept place at the Pavilhão Municipal Patrícia Sampaio, featuring both men’s and women’s competitions.

In the men’s semifinals, OC Barcelos will face SL Benfica at 4:30 PM on April 25, followed by CD Póvoa versus Sporting CP at 7:30 PM the same day. The men’s final is scheduled for 6:00 PM on April 26.

On the women’s side, Parede FC will take on Stuart HC Massamá, although AD Sanjoanense/Delba will meet SL Benfica in their semifinal matchups.

Tomar’s mayor, Tiago Carrão, expressed enthusiasm about the city hosting the event, stating that roller hockey is deeply intertwined with the local heritage and highlighting the municipality’s strong facilities, central location and hotel capacity as key factors in securing the tournament.

The Final Four’s return to Tomar reinforces the city’s growing reputation as a premier destination for national roller hockey events, following previous hosting of the Elite Cup (2021–2023) and the Supertaça in 2025.

The tournament is organized under a protocol between the Portuguese Roller Skating Federation and the Tomar municipality, aiming to boost local tourism and promote the sport nationally.
