The peak of the Lyrid meteor shower is forecast to occur between the late hours of April 22 and the pre-dawn hours of April 23, 2026. During this window, observers in ideal conditions may spot between 10 and 20 meteors per hour, with occasional bright fireballs streaking across the sky.
