Jakarta – Wulan Guritno recently underwent a procedure in South Korea to achieve firmer skin. Rather than following a trend or emulating Gen Z, Guritno has been sharing photos with her face covered due to post-operative swelling.
Wulan Guritno posted photos from her trip to South Korea, but notably concealed her face in the images. “Korea dump…. This isn’t because I’m following the trend of ‘anything from behind,’” Guritno wrote on Instagram, as reported on Sunday, March 1, 2026. “It’s likewise not because I’m copying Gen Z, who cover their faces in photos.”
“It’s just because my face is still really swollen,” she added with a laughing emoji.
Guritno recently had cosmetic surgery on her face in South Korea. Previously, Guritno had mentioned concerns about her skin, specifically the lines around her mouth and a desire for facial lifting. She also expressed that the skin on her neck appeared to be losing elasticity faster than the skin on her face.
Guritno opted for a face lift, emphasizing that the procedure was intended to tighten her skin rather than drastically alter her appearance. Despite covering her face, Guritno’s photos maintain an aesthetic quality, demonstrating the continued influence of Korean beauty standards and procedures on Indonesian celebrities.
