Egyptian actor Yasser Galal recently visited Al Youm Al Sabea newspaper and praised their media role. The visit took place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and included a tour of the newspaper’s departments before a planned honor for the star.
Galal was welcomed by Abdel Fattah Abdel Moneim, the editor-in-chief of Al Youm Al Sabea, and journalist Ola El Shafie, along with members of the newspaper’s art section, including Ali El Keshouty and critic Hanan Shoman. During his visit, Galal expressed his happiness with the institution’s significant development, stating that “Al Youm Al Sabea is an vital model in developing journalistic and media content in Egypt, both in terms of news coverage and digital platforms.”
The actor is currently starring in the Ramadan season series “Kolohom Beyehbo Mody,” which airs exclusively on ON, ON Drama, and the Watch It digital platform. Footage of Galal’s tour of the Al Youm Al Sabea newsroom was shared on Facebook, showing him interacting with staff after the success of his series. Galal also expressed his gratitude to Al Youm Al Sabea and the team behind “Kolohom Beyehbo Mody” in a short video.
Galal noted that the series does not diminish his prestige, even when portraying a parliamentary role. The series has garnered attention for storylines involving characters like Aiten Amer, who hides a pregnancy from Galal’s character, and Hoda Al-Atrebi, who attempts to blackmail Mody. The display’s plot continues to unfold with dramatic twists, as Amer also requests a divorce.
