تشارك الجمعية اليمنية لرياضات وسباقات الصقور في منافسات النسخة الثالثة من كأس الاتحاد الدولي لرياضات وسباقات الصقور 2026، المقرر إقامتها في الـ 14 من فبراير الجاري بميدان لهباب التابع لمركز حمدان بن محمد لإحياء التراث في إمارة دبي، بدولة الامارات العربية المتحدة.
ويتنافس 27 فريقاً يمثلون 25 دولة من مختلف أنحاء العالم، في سباقات مسافة 400 متر، أشواط الماسترز، ضمن واحدة من أبرز البطولات الدولية المتخصصة في رياضات وسباقات الصقور، والتي تشهد حضور نخبة من الصقارين والفرق الدولية، في إطار جهود الحفاظ على هذه الرياضة التراثية وتطويرها وفق معايير تنظيمية حديثة.
وأكد رئيس الجمعية اليمنية لرياضات وسباقات الصقور الدكتور علي بادعام الهميمي أن المشاركة في كأس الاتحاد الدولي تمثل فرصة مهمة لتعزيز حضور اليمن في هذه الرياضة العريقة، وبناء علاقات تعاون مثمرة مع الاتحادات والهيئات الدولية، بما يسهم في تطوير رياضة الصقور في اليمن.
Dubai, UAE – The Yemeni Falconry and Racing Association will compete in the third edition of the International Falconry and Racing Federation World Cup 2026, scheduled for February 14th at the Lahbab field, part of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Preservation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Twenty-seven teams representing 25 nations will participate in the 400-meter races and Masters heats, showcasing the best in the sport. The competition is one of the most prominent international events dedicated to falconry and racing, attracting elite falconers and teams from around the globe. The event aims to preserve and develop this traditional sport according to modern organizational standards.
Dr. Ali Bada’m Al-Hemeimi, President of the Yemeni Falconry and Racing Association, emphasized that participation in the International Federation World Cup represents a significant opportunity to strengthen Yemen’s presence in this historic sport and build productive cooperative relationships with international federations and organizations. He stated this collaboration will contribute to the development of falconry in Yemen.
