Zeebrugge restaurants are joining forces to offer a distinctive New Year’s Eve experience. Bistro ‘t Zandlopertje,Restaurant Lagaar,’Cook at home’ caterer Wim Van Damme,and ‘Old Steamer on Tour’s’ Captain Dirk are collaborating on a five-course menu wiht wine pairings and live music to ring in 2026. The event, beginning at 6:30 PM on December 31st, aims to provide a celebratory dining option for those welcoming the new year in the belgian port city.

Four restaurants in Zeebrugge, Belgium, are collaborating on a unique New Year’s Eve dining experience, offering a multi-course menu with wine pairings and live music. Bistro ‘t Zandlopertje, Restaurant Lagaar, caterer Wim Van Damme of ‘Cook at home,’ and Captain Dirk of ‘Old Steamer on Tour’ are joining forces to host the event.

Robin and Chloé will welcome guests starting at 6:30 PM, with aperitifs served promptly at 7:00 PM on December 31st. The evening’s menu features a five-course meal, beginning with a sea bass and smoked trout mousse with fennel, dill, and Chardonnay. This will be followed by pan-fried wild shrimp with couscous and Ras el Hanout, a cappuccino of prickly pear, butternut squash, parsley, and candied ginger. The main course will be Mechelse koekoek ‘Fine Champagne’ with Parisian mushrooms, celeriac, and potato croquettes. The meal concludes with an exotic fruit soup featuring pineapple, mango, pink grapefruit, mint, and yogurt.

Guests arriving after 11:00 PM will be greeted with a party atmosphere and music provided by ‘dj Captain Dirk’ of ‘Old Steamer on Tour!’ This collaborative event demonstrates a growing trend of businesses partnering to create unique experiences for customers.

The cost per person for the menu, including the aperitif, is €95.00.

Wine pairings, featuring water and selections from Rabotvins, are available for an additional €35.00 per person, including Château Larzac Saint-Majan Languedoc 2023 and Château Lacombe Cadiot Bordeaux Supérieur 2020 magnum. Non-alcoholic beverages and water are also available for €30.00 per person, or guests can choose wines à la carte.
