The show’s third season, which wrapped this past summer, consistently topped its timeslot and achieved impressive ratings, including a number one ranking among viewers aged 20-49 and across all of Korean television drama programming.
The season three finale, episode 35, drew a 5.1% viewership share in the Seoul metropolitan area and 4.5% nationwide, with a 1.5% rating among the key 20-49 demographic. This made it the highest-rated Tuesday night entertainment program in that demographic. At the conclusion of the previous season, the hosts promised viewers, “Season 4 is no problem. We’ll see you soon.”
Now, producers have confirmed that season four will premiere on Tuesday, December 16 at 9 p.m. KST. The first guests will be actors Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin, promising a dynamic pairing. According to a statement, the new season aims to fill viewers’ “small gaps of time” with even more chemistry, exciting missions, and a diverse cast of new personalities.
The show is known for its rotating cast of “friends,” and season four will introduce a new lineup following the popular pairings of Cha Seung-won and Gong Myung, Son Seok-gu and Kim Da-mi, and Jo Yeo-jeong and Jo Jung-suk. The first new pairing to be announced is “Taxi Driver 3” stars Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin, setting the stage for a strong start to the season.
A main poster for the upcoming season has also been released, featuring hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok.
