Veloz Hybrid Pricing Details
The Veloz Hybrid will be available in four distinct variants: V HEV, Q HEV, Q HEV with Modellista, and Q HEV TSS with Modellista. The following are estimated price ranges for each trim level.
- Veloz V HEV: $200 USD (Rp 299 million)
- Veloz Q HEV: $214 – $223 USD (Rp 320-335 million)
- Veloz Q HEV with Modellista: $223 – $234 USD (Rp 335-350 million)
- Veloz Q HEV TSS with Modellista: $240 – $254 USD (Rp 360-390 million)
With these price points, the Veloz Hybrid undercuts the cost of Toyota’s previously most affordable hybrid offering, the Yaris Cross Hybrid. The Yaris Cross Hybrid previously started at approximately $293 USD (Rp 437.2 million) for the 1.5 S HV CVT TSS model. Toyota’s introduction of the Veloz Hybrid is a direct response to consumer demand for more accessible hybrid vehicles. The company has adjusted specifications on the Veloz Hybrid to optimize performance for a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).
The Toyota Veloz Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-liter, 2NR-VEX engine – the same engine found in the Yaris Cross Hybrid. The vehicle delivers a combined output of 111 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 121 Nm of torque between 4,000-8,000 rpm, supplemented by an electric motor producing 141 Nm of torque. The fuel tank capacity is 43 liters. Toyota claims the Veloz Hybrid offers a 40% improvement in fuel efficiency compared to the gasoline-powered Veloz model.
