Iran Attacks Israel: Saudi Arabia Condemns Strikes & Bahrain Oil Fire

Saudi Arabia has condemned attacks launched by Iran against the kingdom and its Gulf neighbors, calling them “unjustified.”

IDF: Iranian missiles launched toward Israel

The Israeli military has reported detecting the launch of missiles from Iran toward the State of Israel.

In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces said that air defense systems were activated to intercept the threat.

In recent minutes, the Home Front Command too sent a precautionary warning directly to mobile phones in the affected areas.

Bahrain, fire at oil facility under control

Authorities in Bahrain have announced that a fire that broke out at an oil facility near the village of Maameer, caused by an Iranian attack, has been extinguished. The incident, they explained, caused material damage but no injuries or fatalities.

Iran, China: Do not target new supreme leader

China has described the selection of Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s new supreme leader as an “internal decision” and expressed opposition to military actions that target the new Iranian leader. During a regular press conference in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated that Beijing had taken note of the reports regarding the appointment. “We have taken note of the information regarding this. This is a decision made by the Iranian side in accordance with its Constitution,” he said.

China also voiced opposition to any actions against the new Iranian supreme leader, after Israel indicated it might consider him a target.
