Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education has announced a 23-day school holiday for all students and teachers across the Kingdom. The break coincides with the official Eid al-Fitr holiday and is in line with the approved academic calendar for the year 1447 AH.

The ministry confirmed that the actual holiday period will begin at the finish of the school day on Thursday, Ramadan 16, 1447 AH, corresponding to March 5, 2026. Classes will resume on Sunday, Shawwal 10, 1447 AH, or March 29, 2026. This means the holiday is just nine days away from the date of the announcement.
