At Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, Jaeger-LeCoultre unveiled eight new timepieces that highlight the Maison’s ongoing pursuit of precision and inventiveness. The collection includes aesthetic reinterpretations of existing models and entirely new calibres, reinforcing the brand’s legacy rooted in the Vallée de Joux, often referred to as the ‘Valley of Inventions’. Among the highlights is the Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar, which displays the months, date, day, and moon phase across four balanced sub-dials. Available in stainless steel with a blue-grey gradient sunray dial or 18K pink gold with a warm bronze-toned dial, the watch features opaline and azuré finishes, a hammered gold-leaf moon-phase display, and a three-row bracelet with polished and brushed finishes.
The event also featured U-Boat’s Classico Dark Mistery, a timepiece that uses polarized crystals in the bezel to shift the dial from absolute black to full visibility with a single turn. This mechanism allows wearers to choose between mystery and revelation, transforming the act of telling time into a personal expression. U-Boat emphasized that the watch does not merely display time but redefines how it is experienced, aligning with the brand’s broader vision of time as something lived rather than observed.
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s presentation was framed around the theme ‘The Valley of Inventions’, with fifteen watches displayed across nearly every part of its catalogue. The showcase included high complications, Métiers Rares creations, new Reverso models, and the introduction of a new Hybris line. A notable shift in the Master Control line was the addition of an integrated bracelet for the first time, marking a new direction within the collection while retaining the existing strap versions. This update reflects the brand’s effort to align its traditionally formal timepieces with contemporary wearing habits.
