NYC Organizations Can Now Be Nominated for 2026 Top Workplaces Awards

New York City organizations with 50 or more employees are now eligible for nomination for the 2026 Top Workplaces awards, recognizing companies that foster a positive workplace culture.

Nominations are being accepted through Friday, November 21, and are open to any public, private, nonprofit, educational, or government entity operating within the five boroughs. The program, now in its sixth year, aims to highlight businesses that prioritize their employees and cultivate thriving work environments – a key factor in attracting and retaining talent in a competitive job market.

Participating companies will be evaluated through a short, 26-question employee survey conducted by Energage, a Pennsylvania-based research partner that has surveyed over 2 million employees nationwide. “Earning a Top Workplaces award is a celebration of excellence,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “It serves as a reminder of the vital role a people-first workplace experience plays in achieving success.” For more information on workplace culture, resources are available from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Last year, 52 employers were recognized as Top Workplaces based on employee feedback. Organizations interested in nominating an employer or learning more about the awards can visit amny.com/nominate or call 917-722-6928; participation is free.

Companies will be honored in spring 2026, and Energage will continue surveying employees through the end of the year.
