‘Hell House LLC’ Creator Stephen Cognetti Announces New Horror Film, ‘A Body in the Woods’
Horror filmmaker Stephen Cognetti, known for the “Hell House LLC” series, announced today he is moving forward with a new, original horror project titled “A Body in the Woods.”
Cognetti revealed details about the upcoming film while attending Midnight Fest in Boston. He described the project as “super spooky” and stated he wrote the script immediately after completing editing on “Hell House Origins,” capitalizing on a strong creative headspace. “I’m thrilled to get into something original and terrifying,” Cognetti said. “I can’t wait to begin filming, which will hopefully be sometime soon.”
This new venture marks a shift for Cognetti, who gained prominence with his found-footage style horror films, including the original 2015 release “Hell House” and subsequent sequels. His recent work includes “825 Forest Road,” which premiered on Shudder earlier this year, demonstrating a continued commitment to the horror genre. The success of the “Hell House LLC” franchise has cultivated a dedicated fanbase eager to see Cognetti’s next creative endeavor.
