AC Milan is reportedly eyeing Jay Idzes, and should the Italian giants make a serious move, they could be looking at a transfer fee starting around $95 million USD!

The initial report came from Sky Sports Italia journalist Luca Cilli, who shared the information via his X account on Wednesday, December 3rd.

“AC Milan are interested in Jay Idzes, the defender from Sassuolo,” Cilli wrote.

Cilli added that while there haven’t been direct talks between the clubs yet, Milan is drawn to the player’s age and potential.

Jay Idzes currently has an estimated market value of €7.5 million (approximately $95 million USD), according to Transfermarkt. This valuation reflects a player’s potential transfer price based on recent performance; strong form and continued health could see that number rise, while injuries or a dip in performance could lower it.

Sassuolo acquired Jay Idzes from Venezia during the summer of 2024 for €8 million (around $103 million USD). Sassuolo does not currently have a release clause for the Indonesian international.

Idzes is under contract with Sassuolo through the summer of 2029, giving the club significant leverage. If he continues to perform well and his market value increases before his contract expires, Sassuolo could potentially demand as much as €10 million (approximately $130 million USD) for his services.

The question now is whether Sassuolo would be willing to part ways with Idzes?
