Alec and Stephen Baldwin Involved in Car Crash in East Hampton
Actors Alec Baldwin and his brother Stephen Baldwin were involved in a single-vehicle accident in East Hampton, New York, yesterday, sustaining no injuries.
Alec Baldwin, 67, shared details of the incident in an Instagram video, explaining that he lost control of his wife Hilaria Baldwin’s Range Rover after a large garbage truck unexpectedly cut him off. “To avoid hitting him,” Baldwin said, “I hit a big fat tree and crushed my wife’s car.” He confirmed both he and Stephen, 59, were unharmed, though the vehicle sustained significant damage. The incident highlights the potential dangers of navigating roadways with large vehicles and unexpected obstacles.
Stephen Baldwin’s representative confirmed his well-being, stating, “Stephen is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured… He appreciates the concern and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well.” Following the crash, Alec Baldwin indicated he would be traveling to Los Angeles to be with his family, including his wife Hilaria, who recently completed her run on Dancing With the Stars.
