A previously unknown financial issue appears to be at the heart of the highly publicized split between singer Américo and comedian Yamila Reyna.
Sources close to Reyna revealed to the program “Hay Que Decirlo” that the Argentine performer is currently facing a complex financial situation involving her former partner. The breakup follows a trend of celebrity splits making headlines as fans closely follow the personal lives of their favorite stars.
According to journalist Manu González, Reyna “contacted Américo, because he is reportedly causing her serious financial problems that are complicating her life.”
Those with knowledge of the situation say Reyna asked the singer to collect her belongings from the home they rented together, including several musical instruments.
But that wasn’t all.
Reported Financial Issues
González reported that during the call, Reyna expressed to Américo the difficulties surrounding the payment of rent for the property, as he was allegedly not fulfilling his share.
“You’ll recall a few days ago, Yamila posted a photo of keys that symbolized home, because it was, but Yamila wants to move out of that residence, as the rent for the property isbetween 2.5 and 3.5 million pesos, so she wants to leave the apartment,” Manu explained.
The problem, he added, is that “she can’t move because Américo isn’t responding regarding the rent. And if she leaves and breaks the contract, there would be a penalty for early termination of 20 million pesos”.
Meanwhile, Willy Sabor shared that he’d heard the singer is currently living at the home of his ex-wife, María Teresa Órdenes, known as “La Pepa.”
The panelist said a friend of Pepa told him about it when they ran into him at a clinic. “Américo is currently taking refuge at Pepa’s house,” Willy indicated.
According to Manu González, after the incident at the gas station—which reportedly triggered the breakup—Américo went directly to his ex-wife’s home.
