ARC Raiders Thriving: New Update & Faces No Threat From Marathon

ARC Raiders is preparing for the launch of its Marathon update, and the game appears well-positioned for the challenge.

Recent reports suggesting a decline in ARC Raiders’ player base are inaccurate. The game continues to attract over 210,000 concurrent players daily on Steam alone—a strong performance, especially considering it launched nearly six months ago—and is also available on consoles. Despite some challenges with cheaters on PC, a common issue for extraction shooters, ARC Raiders is thriving.

The ongoing success of ARC Raiders is bolstered by consistent post-launch support. Developers recently released update 1.17.0 (Shrouded Sky), introducing two novel ARC enemies, new hurricane weather conditions, a free Raider Deck, and a revamped Dam Battlegrounds. The update also includes balance adjustments to the Stitcher, Kettle, Venator, Jupiter, and Aphelion weapons, based on community feedback, and a new option to customize character facial hair. This commitment to player experience is a key factor in maintaining engagement.

A complete list of changes in patch 1.17.0 is available here, and the new features can be seen in the videos below.
