Bentley Women’s Basketball Ranked No. 10 Nationally, Favored to Win Fifth Straight Conference Title

The Bentley University women’s basketball team begins its 2025-26 season ranked No. 10 in the nation and as the favorite to secure its fifth consecutive Northeast 10 Conference championship, according to preseason polls released today.

The Falcons, coming off a 2024-25 season that saw them win both the NE10 title and the NCAA Division II East Regional championship, return key players including senior point guard Cassidy Yeomans and junior guard Niya Morgen, who was named to the All-NE10 Second Team last year. Yeomans has started 66 of 68 games over the past two seasons, while Morgen shot an impressive 47.4% from three-point range last season. Senior bigs Julia Elie and Ciara Norman, the 2023 NE10 Tournament MVP, also return to the roster.

Bentley has added several new faces to its 17-player roster, including junior transfer Kayana Armbrister, a Massachusetts native returning to the state after playing at the NCAA Division I level, and promising freshmen Ava Orlando and Cherish Bryant. The team’s season begins November 15-16 at the Southern Connecticut Tipoff, facing Mercy and Georgian Court. Success in the NE10 and NCAA tournament can significantly boost a program’s national profile and recruiting potential.

The Falcons open conference play November 19 at Southern New Hampshire, with their home opener scheduled for December 6 against Saint Michael’s in the newly renovated Dana Center. Coach C White expects a competitive season, and the team will host a rematch of the NCAA DII East Regional Championship game against Holy Family on December 21. NCAA Women’s Basketball continues to see growing viewership and investment.
