Romanian star Bianca Drăgușanu isn’t letting geopolitical concerns deter her Dubai real estate plans. Despite recent anxieties surrounding the situation in the Middle East, the celebrity says she has no fear about what’s happening in Dubai and is moving forward with a significant decision regarding her property.
In recent years, an increasing number of Romanian celebrities have invested heavily in properties in Dubai, considered one of the safest cities in the world. Drăgușanu is among them, having purchased an apartment in the exclusive destination several years ago.
Over Half a Million Euro Apartment
Drăgușanu invested over 500,000 euros in the Dubai residence, but surprisingly, she says she has never actually lived there. The apartment is new and has been kept in immaculate condition.
Currently, the celebrity is selling the property, not because she’s abandoning her Dubai plans, but because she wants to upgrade to a larger home in a more central area of the city.
“I want to sell my apartment there and buy a bigger one. I haven’t rented it out; it’s brand new, unused, I’ve never lived in it. When I go to Dubai, I stay at a hotel. It’s new, furnished, I want to sell it. Because I’m very busy with many projects, I haven’t had time lately to deal with selling the apartment, but I really want to sell it, so anyone interested should contact me,” Drăgușanu told Spynews.ro.
Bianca Drăgușanu Isn’t Giving Up on Dubai
Even with recent reports of tensions in the region and flight disruptions due to the conflict in the Middle East, Drăgușanu maintains she isn’t afraid. “Bombs could pass by my ears, and nothing scares me,” she stated. “Nothing will change my perception of Dubai. In Dubai, you don’t find potholes, you don’t pay taxes – here, we pay taxes even on the air we breathe. After some snow, all of Bucharest is full of potholes, and you can break your legs in the park, it’s full of potholes in Herăstrău.”
The star says her friends are currently in Dubai and constantly tell her how things are going. According to her, people are continuing their lives as normal, going to work, the beach, the mall, or school without feeling panic. This news comes as many are reassessing travel plans to the region.
Drăgușanu believes the situation has been exaggerated in recent days and that Dubai remains a safe city in all respects. “Dubai is the safest and most beautiful city on the planet. What’s being said lately is being exaggerated. There are tensions, it’s not a comfortable situation, but it’s being greatly exaggerated. I have friends there right now, they’re living their normal lives: one of my friends was at the mall, another was at the beach. I guarantee you Dubai is the safest city in the world. When I was last in Milan, someone snatched a watch off someone’s wrist in broad daylight, with police and people on the street.”
“I Haven’t Heard of Kids Killing Each Other or Doing Drugs on the Street in Dubai”
The celebrity believes there’s no comparison between life in Dubai and life in Romania, and says she’s more concerned about what’s happening in her home country than the situation in the Emirates.
“Dubai is super safe, I haven’t heard of kids killing each other or doing drugs on the street there, like they do here. I don’t even turn on the news in Dubai to see someone beating his wife in Galați or someone stabbing their children or mother in Băicoi. You don’t see things like that,” she added.
