SC Cambuur is reporting a largely healthy squad ahead of their Tuesday night matchup against FC Eindhoven.
Ismaël Baouf and Ichem Ferrah both left Monday’s training session in Deinum as a precaution, but coach Henk de Jong has confirmed both players are expected to be available for selection against Eindhoven.
Henk de Jong looks ahead to the match against FC Eindhoven
The biggest question mark for De Jong appears to be in the striking position. Tony Rölke started up front in Friday’s 1-1 draw with RKC Waalwijk, but Jort van der Sande is reportedly in line to lead the attack against Eindhoven following Monday’s training session. However, De Jong remained tight-lipped on confirming the lineup.
“We have several options there. It depends on what the match requires. We could realistically put four, even five players, into that role. We’ll assess it from week to week,” De Jong said.
