Nuggets Host Kings with Murray, Monk Out for Sacramento

The Denver Nuggets will face the Sacramento Kings tonight, November 2, at 9 p.m. EST, as both Western Conference teams look to improve their early-season records.

Denver enters the game with a 3-2 record, currently sixth in the Western Conference, following a 50-32 overall record and a 32-20 mark within the conference during the 2024-25 season. The Nuggets were a strong offensive team last year, averaging 31.0 assists per game on 45.4 made field goals. Sacramento, at 2-4 and 13th in the West, finished 40-42 overall last season and 26-26 in conference play.

The Kings will be without key players Keegan Murray, sidelined with a thumb injury, and Malik Monk, who is out for personal reasons. Sacramento relied heavily on creating opportunities from mistakes last season, averaging 17.4 points off turnovers, 14.3 second-chance points, and 26.3 points from their bench – areas they’ll need to address with these absences. This game is an early test for both teams as they jockey for playoff positioning in a competitive Western Conference. For more on NBA standings, visit NBA.com.

No injuries have been reported for the Nuggets. The Associated Press contributed to this report using data from Sportradar and technology provided by Data Skrive; you can find more NBA coverage here.

Officials have stated both teams are expected to provide updates on player conditions following the game.
