Real estate investment firm ESR and global data center operator Colt Data Centre Services announced today a partnership to construct a large-scale computing facility in Osaka, Japan, addressing the growing demand for data infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region.
The project will begin construction in 2027, with initial operations slated for the end of the decade. The first phase is planned to deliver 65 megawatts of capacity, with the potential to expand the entire site to 130 megawatts.
