A Polish national died and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on a German highway on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. According to early reports, a 45-year-old man driving a Mercedes transporter with a trailer collided with the rear of a truck. Dense fog is believed to have been a contributing factor in the accident, limiting visibility for drivers. Shortly after, a 44-year-old driver in an Audi A4 crashed into the trailer of the Mercedes.
One passenger in the Mercedes transporter sustained critical injuries and died shortly after being transported to a hospital. Another passenger from the bus suffered serious injuries, while the 45-year-old driver of the Mercedes sustained minor injuries. The drivers of the truck and the Audi were unharmed.
