Jakarta –
Former Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo is addressing speculation linking an actress, identified only as D.K., to the breakdown of his marriage. The Partai Golkar politician asserts that the divorce proceedings were well underway before he even met D.K.
“I can confirm today that D.K. was not the cause of my separation,” Ariotedjo stated in a written statement. “The entire divorce process had already begun long before I knew D.K. In fact, we officially separated on May 31st, and the formal divorce filing was initiated on June 12th, with the first court hearing taking place on July 9th. I didn’t meet D.K. until late July.”

Ariotedjo indicated that other, private reasons contributed to the end of his marriage, and firmly denied rumors of a third party.
“There are other reasons, personal to me, that I’m not able to discuss publicly, but I assure you they do not involve D.K.,” he explained. “It’s true that I know her, but it’s simply untrue to suggest she played any role in the divorce filing, as the proceedings began before we even met.”
Ariotedjo expressed his hope that no one will be falsely accused amidst the current speculation surrounding his personal life.
“I hope that no one becomes the victim of false accusations as a result of this situation. To those who continue to create stories, I forgive you and hope you find peace,” Ariotedjo concluded.
