Radio-Canada’s ICI Télé is seeing strong viewership with its innovative talk show, Facteur A, which launched in January. The series, which features a panel of 25 autistic individuals interviewing public figures, has proven so popular that a second season is already planned for the 2026-2027 programming schedule.
The current season will conclude this Saturday with an interview with actress and host Marina Orsini. The panel will engage Orsini in a candid conversation covering topics such as her impatience, her career evolution, and her musical pursuits. The show’s format, which prioritizes authentic and unfiltered dialogue, is resonating with audiences.
Facteur A’s success highlights a growing trend in media towards more inclusive and diverse programming. Following the season finale, a fresh documentary, T’étais où Serge?, will air on March 14 at 8 p.m. The documentary, previously available exclusively on ICI TOU.TV since December, offers an intimate look at the later years of comedian Serge Thériault’s life and career, featuring archival footage and testimonials from those who knew him.
The fourth season of the series Professeur T, also consisting of six episodes, will follow. The first three seasons are currently available on ICI TOU.TV and center around Jasper Tempest, a criminology professor at Cambridge University with obsessive-compulsive disorder. His unique skillset often leads him to assist local police, despite his preference for order and cleanliness. Season four picks up six months after the events of the previous finale, with Tempest facing new challenges and a surge in criminal activity.
Professeur T will premiere on ICI Télé on an unspecified date and will be available for streaming on ICI TOU.TV on March 21 at 8 p.m. Finally, the second season of Marie-Antoinette will begin airing on April 25. Radio-Canada’s upcoming schedule promises a strong lineup of fiction series for viewers.
