ForbesWho are the Under 30s Shaping Luxembourg?
Following a model deployed internationally by the magazine, Forbes Luxembourg has highlighted several young, influential figures. Here’s a look at who made the list.

The winners received their award at the headquarters of BGL BNP Paribas, Thursday evening.
Forbes LuxembourgMark Zuckerberg, LeBron James, Miley Cyrus, and Kylie Jenner all share a commonality beyond global recognition: they’ve all been featured on Forbes’ annual “Under 30” list, spotlighting thirty influential individuals under the age of 30.
For its second year operating in the Grand Duchy, Forbes Luxembourg has, for the first time, released its own list of rising local talent: Sabrina Alam, Louis Loschetter, Avanti Sharma, Felix Hemmerling, Maria Shcherbakova, Davide Sorvillo, Arnit Dey, Miller Pol, Félix Clement, Valentin Dufour, Charles Weis, Nathan Chicheportiche, Henry Fernandez, Cesar Fernandez, Georg Poensgen, Nadia Alexandria Kendall, and Jeanne Lehair. This initiative reflects a growing trend of localized recognition within the broader Forbes franchise.
“Normally, these are people who save the world”
Some nominees applied, while others were selected directly, like triathlon champion Jeanne Lehair, who expressed some humility at the recognition. “Normally, these are people who create vaccines to save the world or create amazing apps. I just play sports. I wish everyone had a job they’re passionate about,” Lehair told L’essentiel.
All of the honorees were in attendance at a black-tie ceremony Thursday evening at the BGL BNP Paribas headquarters. The event focused on celebrating the dynamism, creativity, and ambition of Luxembourg’s young generation, without ranking the individuals.
Celebrating Luxembourg’s Diversity
“They were selected based on several criteria: innovation, impact, and potential for success. This list represents Luxembourg in all its diversity, with athletes, people from the artistic sector, social enterprises, investment funds, and more. Some were born in Luxembourg, others elsewhere,” said Pierre-Yves Lanneau Saint-Léger, CEO of Silicon and Forbes Luxembourg.
Following the success of this inaugural event, Forbes Luxembourg plans to make the list an annual tradition. The magazine encourages those who believe they deserve recognition to prepare for next year’s selection process.
