Firefighters, police, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene following reports of the crash.
According to initial reports, the helicopter went down in a heavily wooded and difficult-to-access area near a forest.
Reporters from Nowiny24 at the scene reported that the crash occurred near the St. Magdalene tower. As a result, the road from Malawa toward Cierpisza is currently closed to traffic.
The area is experiencing dense fog and limited visibility, complicating rescue efforts. Witnesses described a significant emergency response, with “dozens of vehicles” at the site.
