Louisville House Fire Displaces Resident, Cause Under Investigation
One person is displaced after a house fire caused extensive damage to a home in Louisville, Kentucky early today.
Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS (AMFEMS) units responded to a call reporting a fire in the 1700 block of Seven Green Lane, near the Polo Fields Golf Club, at approximately 3:00 AM on November 10, 2025. Firefighters arrived to find a two-story house with flames visible through the roof. Crews initiated an exterior fire attack due to the intensity of the blaze before entering the structure to extinguish remaining hot spots.
Fortunately, the home’s sole occupant was out of town at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. The fire was contained to the single residence, preventing it from spreading to neighboring properties; home fires are a leading cause of residential displacement, according to the National Fire Protection Association. AMFEMS confirmed the home sustained significant damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Louisville Metro Police. Officials will continue to assess the damage and determine the origin of the blaze.
