East New York House Fire Causes Floor Collapse, Injures Firefighters
A floor collapsed in a two-story house in East New York during a two-alarm fire today, resulting in injuries to three firefighters and one civilian.
The fire broke out just after 5:45 p.m. on October 11, 2025, at 771 Williams Ave, originating in the rear of the building and quickly spreading to both floors. While battling the blaze, two firefighters fell through the compromised floor, becoming trapped under debris. All residents were able to evacuate the home before the arrival of emergency services.
