YouTube TV Offers Subscribers $20 Credit Amid Disney Contract Dispute

YouTube TV is offering a $20 credit to subscribers following the removal of Disney-owned channels, as contract negotiations continue with no resolution in sight.

The digital live-TV provider sent an email to subscribers today, November 10, 2025, stating it has been working to reach a deal with Disney to restore programming. “We know it’s been disappointing to lose Disney content, and we want you to know we deeply appreciate your patience. In light of the disruption, we’re offering our subscribers a $20 credit,” the email read. The loss of these channels impacts access to popular sports and entertainment content for many cord-cutters.

ESPN and ABC, among other Disney-owned networks, were removed from YouTube TV on October 30 after the companies failed to agree on new contract terms. Disney executives stated in a November 7 memo that they offered a deal “that would cost less overall than the terms of our recently expired license.” YouTube TV, owned by Google, countered that Disney sought “costly economic terms that would raise prices for YouTube TV customers and reduce their viewing choices.” For more information on the evolving landscape of streaming services, see The Verge’s coverage.

YouTube TV subscribers who are the primary account holders should receive an email in the coming days with instructions on how to claim the $20 credit, which will be applied to their next bill. Affected channels include ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ABC, Disney Channel, and Freeform. You can find a comprehensive list of YouTube TV channels currently available.

Officials stated they will continue negotiations with Disney in an effort to reach an agreement and restore the lost channels.
