Kaohsiung, Taiwan – The 10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards (AAA) drew to a close Friday, honoring top stars in music and drama with coveted Daesang, or Grand Prize, awards. IU, Lee Jun-ho, Park bo-gum, and groups Stray kids and LE SSERAFIM were among the evening’s biggest winners at the ceremony, held at the Kaohsiung national Stadium and co-hosted by Lee Jun-ho and Jang Won-young. The two-day event continues Saturday with the ‘ACON 2025’ festival.
Stars IU, Lee Jun-ho, Park Bo-gum, Moon Sori, Lim Yoon-a, and groups Stray Kids, ATEEZ, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, and RIIZE were among the honorees at the ‘10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025’ (AAA 2025), taking home the coveted Daesang (Grand Prize) awards.
The ceremony took place on December 6th at the Kaohsiung National Stadium. Actor Lee Jun-ho and Jang Won-young co-hosted the event.
At ‘AAA 2025,’ LE SSERAFIM earned the title of ‘Artist of the Year’ (Music Icon), RIIZE was named ‘Performance of the Year,’ ATEEZ took home ‘Stage of the Year,’ Stray Kids won both ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Artist of the Year,’ and IVE was crowned ‘Song of the Year.’ In the acting categories, IU was recognized as ‘Actor of the Year,’ Lee Jun-ho and Park Bo-gum both received the ‘Best Actor’ award, and Moon Sori and Lim Yoon-a were named ‘Best Actress.’
IU and Stray Kids dominated the night, each securing a total of six awards, showcasing their widespread popularity. Park Bo-gum and Lee Jun-ho also proved their star power with four awards apiece. IVE, including member Jang Won-young’s individual accolades, also earned six wins.
IU, who captivated audiences worldwide with her role in the Netflix original series ‘Dream Sailing,’ expressed her gratitude on stage, saying, “Today, I want to thank the ‘Dream Sailing’ team, who I love more than family. I’ve received so many awards today, but I haven’t had a chance to mention my agency family. Thank you to everyone at IU Team. And thank you to my beloved UAENAs (fandom name) who always guide me.”
She continued, “I also want to thank the audience in Kaohsiung for being here with me. Thanks to you, I was able to spend a beautiful December night.”
IU added with a smile, “I might be annoying, but I want to see you more often, and even more annoyingly. I love you.”
Stray Kids took home two Daesangs, winning ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Artist of the Year.’ The group shared, “Thank you to PD Park Jin-young and everyone at JYP, our parents, family, and friends. This award belongs to our STAY (fandom name).”
Member Seungmin noted, “This is where Stray Kids first received a Daesang at an awards show.” He continued, “It’s been a few years, and we’re so grateful to be back and receive such a big award again. During the 10 years of AAA, we’ve been invited seven times. Every time we attend, it’s a glorious memory, and we’re so thankful for that.”
“Many seniors paved the way for us to be here today. We will now lead the way and spread the positive influence of music,” the group added. “It’s been a tumultuous year, and I hope everyone can recover both physically and mentally at the end of the year.”
“This award is especially meaningful for us as a self-producing group. Thank you to AAA 2025 for these incredible gifts. We will continue to work hard and pour our passion into Stray Kids,” they promised.
Lee Jun-ho, who starred in the tvN drama ‘Chef Typhoon,’ accepted his Daesang, saying, “I’m so happy to be able to show the ‘Typhoon spirit’ to fans around the world through ‘Chef Typhoon.’” He added, “2025 was like a typhoon, but I was able to grow during it, and I’m deeply moved.”
He continued, “Thank you to all the staff, director, and writer of ‘Chef Typhoon.’ I want to tell my fans that I love you. This year has been particularly hectic, with many challenges, but I hope we can all walk forward together, holding each other’s hands, like the ‘Typhoon spirit.’ Wishing you all a happy new year and good health.”
Park Bo-gum created a global sensation with his role in the Netflix original series ‘Dream Sailing.’ The series’ success underscores the growing international demand for Korean dramas.
Park Bo-gum, accepting his Daesang, said, “Thank you for giving me an unexpected award. It was a year of gratitude for being able to deliver a warm message through ‘Dream Sailing,’ and I’m grateful to my wonderful partner, IU. I will continue to be an actor who shows various performances and cool looks through good works.”
Moon Sori, who captivated global fans with her delicate performance in ‘Dream Sailing,’ said upon receiving her Daesang, “Thank you so much. I once saw a sky full of stars in the desert, and it was a moment I’ll never forget in my life. The lights you’re showing me today remind me of those stars. You are the real ‘stars’ in our hearts.”
She added, “I felt respect for everyone who performed with sweat on stage. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for inviting me to this place. I will show you a more fun performance than you expect.” Moon Sori also confessed her fandom for Cortis during her acceptance speech, drawing attention.
Lim Yoon-a, who sparked a record-breaking syndrome with tvN’s ‘Chef Typhoon,’ said, “I’m grateful to be taking home a variety of awards. It was a happy year because many people loved ‘Chef Typhoon,’ and I’m glad I can finish it with the Best Actress award.”
“I’m grateful to the director, writer, and all the staff, and to my SM family. And thank you to our SONE (fandom name) for always cheering me on. I love you,” she said to her fans.
ATEEZ, winners of ‘Stage of the Year,’ shared, “We received this precious award thanks to our fans. We will humbly accept it and walk the right path. We received the ‘Stage of the Year’ award. This year marks AAA’s 10th anniversary, and it’s been seven years since our debut. We’ve been invited to AAA seven times, and every time we attend, we leave with a glorious memory.”
RIIZE, who earned the ‘Performance of the Year’ Daesang, said, “I don’t know how to express this. Thank you to AAA for giving us such a valuable award. We’ve been working hard to show good performances since our debut, and it seems like you’ve recognized that, which makes me happy.”
“This award is for our fans. Thank you for believing in us and following us. We will be a RIIZE that doesn’t disappoint. This is our first time attending AAA, and it’s an honor to be on the same stage as so many great people, and it’s even more of an honor to receive such an award. Thank you to AAA. Above all, I’m grateful to SM Entertainment and our fans. Thank you to the choreographers and dancers,” they added.
LE SSERAFIM, named ‘Artist of the Year’ (Music Icon), said, “We won our first Daesang at last year’s AAA, and we’re so grateful to receive such a big award again this year. I’m so nervous. It’s meaningful and grateful to be given the ‘Icon’ title in the music category. Thank you so much, FEARNOT (fandom name). We will be a LE SSERAFIM that delivers good music.”
“I also want to thank Bang Si-hyuk PD and the producers who always create amazing music. I want to say that our members worked hard too. We will strive to deliver new and enjoyable music to those who listen to us. We were able to be here because there were people listening to our music,” they said.
LE SSERAFIM concluded, “We are grateful to those who support our music more than anyone else. We are working hard to deliver new and enjoyable music. We are able to stand here because there are people listening to us.”
