4 hours ago Ingrida has lived in England for 13 years. She has three sons — aged 17, 8, and 5. Her eldest is from a previous relationship; the younger two were born after she started a family in England with a Portuguese partner. She no longer lives with them after 12 years together, as they went their separate ways. Her current relationship lasted only a few years. Until the youngest boy’s health issues emerged, Ingrida worked as a hospital caregiver in England. Before that, she worked in a factory shortly after arriving. Ingrida said her five-year-old son Tomas had a demanding start to life. Just two weeks old, he contracted severe bronchitis. The illness progressed so quickly that he was hospitalized, fell into a coma, and was connected to multiple machines. Medical equipment helped him breathe, and doctors treated his lungs. “We didn’t know if he would survive. He did. But that was only the beginning of his fight,” she said. Ingrida said Tomas was born prematurely — at just 36 weeks. After birth, the babies were discharged from the hospital after three days. While waiting for Tomas, her pregnancy progressed smoothly. Only near the finish, around 34 weeks, doctors noticed the fetus had stopped growing. Tomas was eventually born after two additional weeks, prompted by concerns over the infant’s condition. “In her words, the delivery was relatively easy compared to the previous two, as Tomas weighed less than two kilograms,” the report noted.
