LIV Golf Expands Partnership with Trackman to Enhance Data Analytics and Fan Engagement

LIV Golf announced today an expanded partnership with sports technology leader Trackman, building on a collaboration that aims to deliver deeper insights to fans and players alike.

For the past year, Trackman’s technology has significantly enhanced LIV Golf’s broadcast analytics, providing data on drives, swing speed, and shot carries. This included tracking Caleb Surratt’s 455-yard drive in Mexico City as the season’s longest, and Joaquin Niemann’s 440-yard tee shot in Chicago as the longest in American events. Bryson DeChambeau led the League in average carry length with 312.5 yards, while Josele Ballester averaged the fastest swing speed at 133.4 mph. “For the last 20 years, Trackman has been the leading sports technology in the golf industry,” said Ross Hallett, LIV Golf Executive Vice President, Head of Events. “This partnership is a perfect example of this.”

The partnership extends beyond broadcast data, with a recent “Majesticks Versus the World” closest-to-the-pin competition at LIV Golf Andalucia. The event, launched in partnership with Majesticks GC, saw 9,500 signups across 74 countries, utilizing Trackman simulators and ranges to compete against the professional players. This increased fan engagement demonstrates a growing trend in utilizing technology to bridge the gap between professional and amateur golfers. Trackman’s technology, trusted by more professional golfers than any other, captures detailed club and ball flight data with precision, as detailed on the Trackman website.

Trackman’s technology is used across a wide range of sports, including baseball, tennis, and even Olympic events like hammer throw and shot put, showcasing its versatility and accuracy. “Trackman has always believed that passionate golf fans and professionals alike want the best data and insights to improve their game,” said Klaus Eldrup-Jørgensen, Trackman CEO and co-founder. LIV Golf officials stated they plan to continue partnering with LIV Golf teams throughout the 2026 season on similar events, further integrating Trackman’s technology into the fan experience.
