In the dying moments of the match, Porto’s Francisco Moura scored an own goal, sealing the final result.
Virtually Eliminated from Europa League
Even before Thursday’s match, Malmö FF’s hopes of reaching the playoff round were slim.
Now, those hopes are all but extinguished.
With one point from six matches, MFF trails the 24th-place team by six points.
Two matches remain, and Malmö FF must win both while relying on other results to go their way to have any chance of advancing.
