A Walmart store in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, is dealing with a rodent issue, according to a report on March 7, 2026. The discovery of mice at the location has prompted a response from the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ).

The issue came to light after a customer shared a photo with Le Journal de Montréal showing a damaged bag of pizza crusts. Approximately $2 worth of the product had been eaten, indicating rodent activity within the store.

The Walmart in Rouyn-Noranda is located at 275 Boulevard Rideau, and can be reached at (819) 762-2445. The store is open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, according to Flyers Online.
