Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour Reflect on ‘Stranger Things’ Ahead of Final Season Premiere
Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour celebrated their nearly decade-long working relationship yesterday at the premiere of Stranger Things’ fifth and final season, dispelling recent rumors of discord.
Reuniting at the TCL Chinese Theatre, Brown described herself as “so lucky” to have Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper, in her life. “It’s been amazing. We’re so lucky to have each other,” she told reporters. “The show means so much to the both of us, and to everyone here. This has been the last 10 years of our lives.” The pair shared a hug and laughter while posing on the red carpet, according to reports.
The final season, continuing in the fall of 1987, will see the characters united against Vecna, who has vanished while Hawkins remains under military quarantine. The show’s popularity has launched several of its young stars into mainstream success, and its conclusion marks the end of a cultural phenomenon. Volume 1 of the final season will release on Netflix on November 26th, featuring four episodes, followed by Volume 2 on Christmas with three episodes, and the finale on New Year’s Eve. All volumes will be available at 5 PM PT. You can learn more about the show’s history and characters on Netflix.
Netflix shared a video to Instagram commemorating “one last Stranger Things premiere” after the series debuted in 2016. The Duffer Brothers created the series, which follows Eleven, played by Brown, and her friends as they battle supernatural forces. The release schedule aims to give fans a prolonged viewing experience.
Officials stated that the final season will resolve all major plotlines and provide closure for the characters.
