Nicole Kidman Turns Heads at Vogue World Following Divorce Filing
Nicole Kidman made a striking appearance at Vogue World: Hollywood 2025 in Los Angeles yesterday, her first major public event since filing for divorce from Keith Urban.
The 58-year-old actress walked the runway in a black Chanel by Matthieu Blazy bustier dress adorned with black satin camellias, channeling the iconic Rita Hayworth from the 1946 film Gilda. Kidman’s look was completed with bright red lipstick and curled blonde hair. She also opened her appearance with a black-and-white performance of “Put the Blame on Mame,” backed by dancers and vintage studio lighting.
The event marks Kidman’s third public outing since filing for divorce from Urban, 58, on September 29th in Nashville, Tennessee, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The split, after 20 years of marriage, has drawn significant media attention and speculation about the future of both stars’ careers. Prior to yesterday’s runway show, Kidman attended an amFAR auction in Dallas on October 4th and the Chanel runway show during Paris Fashion Week on October 6th with her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Meanwhile, Urban has returned to the concert stage, recently performing in Hershey, Pennsylvania on October 2nd, and has alluded to personal struggles in recent performances, including lyrics about escaping a “soul-sucking routine.” Billboard reports that Urban also spoke about feeling “lonely and miserable” while on tour. Representatives for both Kidman and Urban have not yet issued official statements regarding the divorce proceedings or their respective futures.
Divorce proceedings are ongoing, and both Kidman and Urban are expected to continue their professional commitments as the separation unfolds.
