Paulina Krupińska, a familiar face in Polish entertainment, is speaking out against online criticism of her appearance. The television personality and former beauty queen first gained national attention after winning the Miss Polonia competition in 2012 and representing Poland at Miss Universe the following year, where she was awarded the title of Miss Photogenic. Since transitioning from modeling, Krupińska has become a prominent television host, first with a segment on “Pytanie na śniadanie” and, since 2014, as a mainstay on TVN.

Paulina Krupińska Fires Back at Body-Shamers: “We Won’t Be Silenced”

Krupińska recently responded to a wave of online comments criticizing her physique, sharing several examples of the negativity she received and directly addressing the commenters.

Among the comments shared were accusations such as “She’s pregnant”, “She’s gained some weight”, “She’s massive”, “I like looking at her because she hides her figure flaws well”, and “TVN feeds her too well”.

Krupińska pointed out that these kinds of comments aren’t limited to celebrities, but also target young women and new mothers, leading them to “start thinking they are not good enough.” “Don’t let us be silenced,” the presenter urged, appealing to the commenters to stop reducing a woman’s worth to her size and to allow others to look however they choose. “A body is not an invitation to judge. A body is a home we have,” she wrote on Instagram.

And me? I’m not “massive,” “too big,” or “not ideal enough.” I am myself. Completely. With a self-love that I had to learn over a long time through the industry I work in, and also through comments like these. To all women: don’t let anyone’s words steal your confidence. Don’t let the internet tell you who you should be and how you should look. Your body is not the problem. The problem is a lack of empathy. And as long as we talk about it loudly—we won’t be silenced.
